Terms of Service

Spanish With Bachata is an educational tool that helps you learn Spanish through short, teaching-focused phrases from bachata songs. Songs are played through their official embedded YouTube players — we do not host audio or reproduce full song lyrics; we present brief excerpts and original explanations for language-learning purposes.

• You sign in using Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the Service (at least 13, or 16 where applicable).
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell the Service’s content or lessons.
• Attempt to bypass paywalls, access controls, or security measures.
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of third-party rights.

The lessons, translations, explanations, design, logo, and other original materials on the Service are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Song titles, lyrics, recordings, and videos remain the property of their respective owners; embedded videos are provided by YouTube under YouTube’s terms. Nothing here transfers ownership of third-party content to you or to us.

Some content is free and some requires a subscription or one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Where billing is offered, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Prices and available plans may change; any change applies going forward. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, for educational purposes only, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome, uninterrupted availability, or that content is error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spanish With Bachata and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal exposure.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
